Farm-Fresh, Simple, Effective Skin Care -- Handmade by YOU!

Private Workshops

Are you a Boise local? Interested in attending a class, but can't make the scheduled dates or just want some personalized attention? Have the class come to you!  Host a private workshop.

I will travel to you with all the supplies and ingredients needed to get you started on your journey with handcrafted skin care. Book a one-on-one class or a group workshop.

These workshops make a unique and interesting activity for a mom’s night out or bridal party, your church group or holistic living organization, employee team building activity,or just for a few hours of fun for you and your girlfriends.
Spend a few hours of fun with your girlfriends hosting a handmade skin care workshop.

What can I expect at my private workshop?

You'll get all the same information that I teach in my college community education classes, all taught to you or your private group.
I'll arrive at the place of your choosing with supplies, ingredients, fun fragrances, and everything you need to make your own skin care products.  We'll start your workshop with some information and direction, then you'll be cut loose to handcraft your products.

Every guest will handcraft several skin care products to take home, plus you'll get recipes and handouts so that you can continue making the products on your own.  Everybody leaves with tons of goodies!

Hey, is this one of those "home parties?

Nope.  This is not an MLM, come-and-buy-my-products type of "class."

I am not affiliated with any company.  This is my own small business.  I am not coming to your event to sell to you or your guests.

I am an esthetician and instructor, and have been teaching others how to make handcrafted skin care products since 2000. I have taught with many colleges throughout Northern California, including California State University Stanislaus, and have given workshops for many private groups and companies alike, including Sequoia Insurance Company and Clif Bar. Check out the About Me page to learn more about me and what I do.

You and your guests will get information, lots of hands-on time making products, and not a sales pitch.

What do I have to do as hostess?

As hostess, you decide on the venue, whether that is a meeting hall, church rec room, staff lounge, or even your own kitchen.  (These at-home workshops are very popular as a girl's night with all your best gal pals!)

After the date is booked, you'll invite all of your guests, who will RSVP to you. On the day of the event, I will arrive with everything needed for a fun and fascinating workshop.

How long do private workshops last?

In general, workshops run 2 to 3 hours, depending on the class. Your workshop can be a low-key event or a more structured class setting, depending on the needs of your group.

Which classes can I choose from?

You can choose from any of the classes listed on the class page. Soap or lotion making, handmade spa treatments, natural skin care, and more.

But you're not limited to just what you see listed.  I can tailor a class that suits your interests.

And if you're looking for something extra special, say for your bridal party, special occasion or exclusive event, I can prepare a class to fit perfectly with your theme.  (A small additional fee may apply for this option.)

How much does it cost?

Workshop registration fees are charged on a per person basis.  The workshop fee covers all of the ingredients and supplies needed to participate in class.

Fees vary depending on which class you'd like to host, but generally run between $129 to $189 per person. You'll receive a discount if you book 4 or more guests, or if your class is held at my private studio.
A travel fee may apply if you're farther than 30 miles from Kuna, Idaho.

If you're hosting a large group (15 or greater) workshops can be booked at a flat fee.

How do I book a private workshop?

Contact me to book your date. Both weekday, weekend, and evening workshops are available. I'd love to meet you and bring the class to you!
