Pomegranate Carrot Seed Facial Serum

When I was younger, I cringed at the thought of putting oil on my face.  Now?  I live for it!

I love the way natural oils make my skin look moisturized, plump, and dewy.  And they feel so good.  (Yes, young ones, you too will one day love the feel of a greasy face.)

This luxury serum feels wonderful on the face, and is super moisturizing.  As an added bonus -- it's a fabulous anti-aging serum!  It's super high in antioxidants.

Although the oils used are somewhat pricey, the finished serum is still way less expensive than serums you would buy at the department store or salon.  And the results you get are just as good (or better, I think).

It takes just five minutes or less to mix up this serum.  Since these are specialty oils, the best place to find them will be at online herbal suppliers.  I like From Nature with Love and Mountain Rose Herbs.

Pomegranate Carrot Seed Facial Serum
1 tablespoon argan oil
1/2 tablespoon acai oil
1/2 tablespoon pomegranate seed oil
1 teaspoon carrot seed oil

Mix all oils in a small container, preferably one with a pump top (this makes about 1 ounce of serum).  Shake gently until mixed.

Massage several drops onto the face and neck every night.  Use it alone, or under your nightly moisturizer.  You'll love how dewy your skin looks and feels in the morning!

This serum is super fast absorbing and is appropriate for all skin types, although if you have very oily skin you may want to mix two drops of this oil with several drops of witch hazel in the palm of your hand, then massage this mixture onto your face.
