Skin-Saving Salve

With all the time I spend outside, it seems like I'm always battling dry skin.  But this salve helps soothe and heal painfully chapped skin.  Smells great too.

Skin-Saving Salve
1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
1 tablespoon beeswax
6 drops lavender essential oil
6 drops tea tree essential oil
2 drops rosemary essential oil

In a small bowl, add grapeseed oil, almond oil, and beeswax.  Heat in the microwave on low for 10 second intervals, stirring frequently, until beeswax is just melted.  Let cool slightly, then add essential oils and stir well.  Before salve thickens, pour into a small wide-mouthed container with a lid. 

To use, massage a small amount wherever dry, chapped skin is a problem: lips, around the nose, hands and cuticles, etc. (avoid the eye area, though).

Yield:  approx. 1 ounce
