Red Raspberry Lip Balm

Red raspberry seed oil is so good for your skin.  It's high in vitamin E, vitamin A, omega-3s and omega-6s.  Plus, some studies have shown it to protect against UV damage.

It's a fairly expensive oil, but you need just a bit in this recipe.  Plus, it may help protect your lips from the sun, naturally.  What's not to like about that?

The ruby mica is for color only.  You can omit if you like.  Or, if you want your lip balm to really pack a punch, add up to 1/8 of a teaspoon mica.

Red Raspberry Lip Balm
1 tablespoon red raspberry seed oil
3/4 tablespoons beeswax
1 pinch ruby mica for color (if you want more color, feel free to add more)
Optional: 1/8 teaspoon raspberry flavor oil

Melt raspberry seed oil and beeswax in the microwave on low heat.  Mix in flavor oil.  Add mica a small pinch at a time until you get desired color.  Pour into several lip balm tubes or small container with lid.
