Acne Fighting Oat Mask

This one is an easy-to-make mask that pulls excess oils from the skin.  Tea tree and lavender essential oils soothe and fight breakouts.  Peppermint leaves cool the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed.

It's one of my favorites, especially when summertime breakouts hit.

Acne Fighting Oat Mask
    2 tablespoons finely ground oats
    1 teaspoon french green clay
1 teaspoon dried peppermint leaves, crushed
    2 tablespoons warm water
    1 drop lavender essential oil
1 drop tea tree essential oil

In a small bowl, mix oats, clay and peppermint leaves.  Slowly add water, stirring constantly, until creamy (you may need to add more or less water to achieve this consistency).  Let set for three minutes.  Add essential oils and mix well.  You may add more water at this point if mask seems too thick.

To use: Apply to face and neck.  Let set approximately 10 minutes.  Remove with a washcloth and warm water.
